Through the Smoke

One body. One dark mass of vehicle. One long gesture drawn low across the grass. The smoke erases hierarchy and depth until labor is reduced to its bare grammar. In that near-white pressure, persistence is the only shape that holds.

A lone figure leans into a field nearly erased by smoke, while a dark vehicle holds its ground at the frame’s edge. Grain and haze press the scene into something raw, immediate, and difficult to look away from.
