The Silent Grove

A dark field. One gathered stand of trees. Above it, nearly all air. The composition leans on imbalance and holds. What remains is not emptiness, but a measured interval the eye cannot quite finish.

A compact stand of trees gathers at the edge of an open field while the sky expands almost without limit. The image presses weight downward and releases it upward, balancing mass, distance, and restraint.
