Storm Light Over the Field
Everything is held in suspension: the black field, the low line of horizon, the tree drawn tense at the right margin. Out of the cloudbank, a shaft of light drops hard and precise beside the distant structures. The scene doesn’t resolve; it tightens.
A field lies under a ceiling of weather and light. Between two small structures on the horizon, a torn opening in the clouds sends down a brief, severe brightness.
