Hidden Face Portrait

It feels like the beat between impact and aftermath. Fingers press into the hair, the face disappears, and the black field around the figure gives the scene no exit. Only the sweater's pale cuff and the lit knuckles remain to mark resistance. The frame holds like a door not yet opened.
